This series takes viewers on exclusive tours of maternity hospitals around Sweden. In this episode we visit BB Karolinska.

Midwife Maria Midstam takes us behind the doors of the maternity ward at BB Karolinska. Here she shows us one of the birthing rooms, while she tells us about the various aids and pain relief available to you as a birthing mother.

Maria also takes us into the specialist maternity ward and tells us what the midwives and specialist doctors who work there do. We also pass the surgical ward, located in the center of the maternity ward, before moving on to the postnatal ward.

Last but not least, we will meet Maria Ekdotter, a midwife working at the Aurora clinic, where you can go if you need extra support during pregnancy.
