Lunch/dinner 8-12 months

In this article, we share two nutritious recipes that are perfect to serve for lunch/dinner from 8-12 months.

Recipes lunch/dinner 8-12 months:

Quinoa gratin with vegetables and chicken

This gratin is not only tasty but contains good nutrients for your little one. Maybe you can taste it too? You don't have to be afraid to season your food, but be careful with salt. For example, some broths contain a lot of salt, so you can skip the extra salt. Serve as lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:
- 1 dl cooked quinoa
- 4 dl chicken broth (without added salt)
- 1 boiled and diced chicken fillet
- 2 tbsp diced carrot
- 2 tbsp diced zucchini
- 2 tbsp diced broccoli
- A little rapeseed or olive oil for frying
- A pinch of oregano or parsley (optional)

Do this:
1. Fry the carrot, zucchini and broccoli in a little rapeseed oil until soft.
2. Add the cooked quinoa, chicken broth and chicken to the vegetables.
3. Stir and simmer until all ingredients are warm and flavors have blended.

If desired, sprinkle with oregano or parsley before serving.

Cod stew with vegetables

How often do you eat fish at home? This cod casserole is an obvious choice for any parent of young children who wants to make a simple, tasty and nutritious dish that actually works for the whole family. Perhaps you could make two versions, with the adult option containing a little more spice and salt?

Ingredients:
- 100 g fresh cod, boneless and cut into small pieces
- 1 potato, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup green peas
- 2 tbsp diced carrot
- 1/4 onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup fish broth (without added salt)
- 1 tsp rapeseed oil
- A pinch of dill or parsley (optional)

Do this:
1. Heat the rapeseed oil in a pan and sauté the onion until soft.
2. Add the potatoes, carrot and peas. 3.
3. Sauté the vegetables for a few minutes.
4. Add the fish stock and simmer until the vegetables are tender.
5. Add the cod pieces and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.

If desired, sprinkle with dill or parsley before serving.

Be careful with any bones in the cod, making sure they are properly removed before serving.

Note! Check the temperature of the food and adjust the consistency depending on what your child is used to and can handle.
