Snacks for babies (8-12 months)

Cottage cheese with pear and pea puree
Cottage cheese is something that many children appreciate, together with some fruit and vegetables you have a great snack for baby that both nourishes and fills a hungry little stomach.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 dl cottage cheese
- 1 pear, peeled and diced
- 2 tbsp cooked green peas
Instructions:
1. Mix the cottage cheese with the pear and pea puree.
2. Blend to a smooth consistency and serve.
Mango and yogurt smoothie

You can't go wrong with a smoothie, right? And it doesn't get any easier than this! You can of course vary the fruits and berries in smoothies, but banana and mango is a winning combination that many children love.
Pumpkin seeds are optional but are good to add as they contribute iron.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 banana
- 0.5 dl frozen mango
- 1 dl unsweetened yogurt
- 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
Instructions:
1. Blend the banana, mango, yogurt and pumpkin seeds into a smooth smoothie.
2. serve in a child-friendly cup or bowl.
