Apple and pear puree recipe (from 4 months)
Apple and pear puree is both a tasty and nutritious option to serve to babies from 4 months of age. It's a good idea to vary purees of different fruits and vegetables, so that your little one is introduced to a varied diet right from the start. Feel free to add some rapeseed oil or a small knob of butter to ensure your baby also gets high-quality fats like Omega-3.
Recipe apple and pear puree
Ingredients:
- 1 apple, peeled, cored and diced
- 1 pear, peeled, cored and diced
- Some water (for steaming)
This is how you do it:
1. steam the apple and pear cubes until very soft.
2. Blend the steamed fruits to a smooth puree.
3. Cool the puree before serving.
